Duke Nukem is one of the few action platformers by Apogee Software that has a character who has survived until today. It features a badass (self-proclaimed) hero who sometimes wears a pink shirt and watches Oprah. The main feature of the games is that you can run around and blast the hell out of everything. This site gives you more information than you'll ever want on the first two games of the series, the platformers. After that, Duke3D came and started a revolution of Nukem games that lead to today's never-ending wait for the release of the planned title Duke Nukem Forever.
